Welcome to the Home of Legend Dairy Bernese Mountain Dogs!

We are a small breeder of big dogs located in north Fort Worth, TX.

Perun is our big boy. He looks huge, but he is a total teddy bear. He likes to go get bagels with us and meet new folks. He has competed in Rally-Obedience, but he’d really rather meet all the folks watching. He’s also the sire to all our litters.

Zorza is our OB mama dog and we love her so much. She has retired now, but she was the best mama dog and she still takes good care of us. She is also a Rally-Obedience dog. She has her AKC Intermediate Title in Rally.

Vesna is our sweetie who just wants to hang out and cuddle up with us. And maybe go get pup cups at the coffee shop.

Melly is our all-around girl. She competes in conformation, Rally-Obedience, and FastCAT competitions. So she likes to go…and get pup cups at the coffee shop.

In general, Bernese Mountain Dogs (lovingly called Berners) originated in the canton of Bern Switzerland as an off-shoot of mastiff lines.  For centuries, Berners were general farm dogs, hauling cheese and milk carts to town, herding cattle, and keeping watch over the farm.

They are giant breed dogs, reaching up to 28 inches at the shoulder and around 110-120 pounds for males, 90-100 pounds for females. They are wonderful, loving companions who just want to be with you. They do not have any problems with the Texas summers so long as they have plenty of shade and water.
